Went here at the tail end of a long bachelor party event because hey, it’s pretty much something you have to do. I had an okay time but I think strip clubs just aren’t my scene. While I can appreciate the campy, raunchy fun available here I simply don’t think the money spent is worth the services rendered.I’ll be frank: I just don’t receive the value out of the cost of these places. My entertainment dollar is better spent pretty much anywhere. It’s all well and good to have a frivolous good time but ordering a bucket of beers for $30 really brings my good time down to Earth. But I was the groom so it wasn’t on my dime. Still, I cringed every time my best man paid for alcohol.So I guess for me the experience was probably a two-star one but I’d say that Trumps is a fair to nice strip club. I can’t judge it all that well because it was a Saturday so I wasn’t exactly seeing the B squad and I was already drunk before I got there but it seemed to me to be as good as any other strip club I’ve gone to in the past.I’d say it could be a good time if you honestly could say “budget be damned” and just throw a ton of money away on a night of paid flirtation.For other bachelors out there, here’s a game I invented while at our table at Trumps: It’s called Cheap Seats. As the bachelor, dancers will come and sit in your lap to try and chat you up so you’ll buy a dance or buy them drinks or other ways for you to pay for their company. Therein lies the game. The clock starts the second she sits on your lap. Once she’s comfortable it is your goal to see how long she’ll sit on your lap without anyone at the table paying her a dime. Whatever dirty strategy you can come up with is fine but just see how long she’ll invest in you before she moves on to someone else.Respectful? Not at all. Entertaining? Terribly so.
This has been a long time favorite club for me. Its like the cheers of the strip club industry, the managers always remember you and treat you well, the dancers are generally sweet and intelligent (and of course gorgeous)
This bar will never be the same. The staff is different, the customers are different, prices are to much. The list goes on and on. It used to be my favorite bar in detroit. The quality and service in all of these bars have gone down.
As with all clubs the drink prices are inflated but overall it’s a decent club with some hotties, a few too many that are sickly skinny.

This place was the hot spot, about 20 years ago. It’s worn down and so are the women. The rooms aren’t as secluded and private as other clubs and the women are on the gritty side. The bar upstairs is a fail because it is too far away from the railing to watch the women on the stages. The drinks are moderately priced, but for a good time there are better places to go. I’m not a fan of foxy-boxing, but if you are- they have it on Tuesdays I think. The women who box are not the dancers, they are women brought in to fight. They may get a few dancers drunk enough to fight, but its mostly women who look like they’re professionals.
was in tonight (thursday) the girls were very high quality, some were a little bony. and there was a skinny cracked out dancer with buck teeth that looked quite out of place. this place is starting too geta bit dull, need to try somethingnew if you want repeat business

Wow! Great place! I went tonight, and had a great time! Safe parking (don’t worry about your car), and very clean. Great sound, and lighting. And the girls just kept getting better! They (and Al) kept me entertained for four hours, and I frequently found myself completely overwhelmed!

This is a first class place. Great bar, girls and atmosphere. Some strip bars in Detroit are dumps, but not this place!! Try it.

This is a great club, good looking girls, great bartenders, and despite what one(John)reviewer said are NEVER drunk, as mgt wouldn’t allow it. But as with anything you can always make improvements.

Not too busy since it was a weekday. The dancers were nice and not pushy at all. Waitstaff was great. Big downfall was the cost of a dance $25 per dance but another $20 to pay for the”room” and it’s not even a private room. So $45?? This isn’t Vegas.

As strip clubs go, this is one of them.My friends and I have pretty much settled on Trumpps as being the best bet strip club in the city. It’s got a $10 cover, which is half as much as Penthouse (which I hear is awesome, but I’m not balla enough to afford it). Booths are an extra cost, but it doesn’t cost anything to sit by the stage, and it’s more fun there anyway.It’s almost sad that my friends and I come here enough that some of the staff knows us by name. That’s probably not a good thing, but it makes you feel like some sort of scummy Al Pacino character when you walk in and are greeted by name, which is cool. You can even go right upstairs to the VIP bar if you’re there just for the private dancing.Drinks are super expensive (beers usually around $5-$6) and mixed drinks are on the $9 mark. Dances are usually about $25/song, which is pretty average, and most of the girls are good at what they do. In fact, a lot of the girls work at Penthouse as well, and it’s cheaper for a dance at Trumpps. The private dance area is upstairs lined with booths. For a little extra they can close the curtain on the booth. BE WARNED – Bring cash with you because the ATM has a $20 surcharge. Robbery!They have specials almost every day of the week. My friends and I can only seem to get our schedules to sync up on Tuesdays to go. $5 Long Islands and “Foxy” Boxing. I put Foxy in quotes because it’s not that sexy, it’s just some pumped up women whaling on each other for 15 minutes. I think Mondays have $3 domestics which is cool. I believe Sundays are KY Jelly wrestling. Classy.As I have said before, (and as I’m pretty sure it is with most clubs) you’re never sure what kind of entertainment you’re going to get. Sometimes the women are amazing, other times not so much. Here’s another tip – sit at the south end of the bar. That’s where the tops come off.If you’ve got money to blow, but still want to be “thrifty”, check out Trumpps for a good night out. Just prepare for the lighter wallet and the feeling of regret the next day.

Went on a Friday afternoon. The club was not too busy, sort of a relaxed atmosphere. Variety of girls was ok, mostly african american and a few white girls. The overall quality of girls was about 5+ to 7. Recommend Boston for lap dances, she’s GREAT!

Overall one of the best experiences I have had. I have no complaints or regrets. No fat girls, all were hot. Mostly white girls with a few black girls in for flavor. Great comfortable atmosphere. Many big screens and plasmas. Great service from the valet to the coat check girl! I highly recommend to any traveling businessman in the Detroit area. Thanks!

I was physically attacked by the owner and bouncer in the club tonight.
I was in for Tuesday’s fight night (another girl told me the other night).. I believe it was jocelyn or ‘jasmin’ came to me. We danced half a song. She offered to close the curtain so she can do more touching for $120 (four songs). I agreed. Then she offered to do more for $250. I was not in the mood that night. I refused. Then she started dancing with no contact at all. I was pissed off and stopped at total of 2 songs (including the first half song) . During the two songs, she was doing mostly negotiation for more money. She use the no touching as a way for negotiation. I offered to pay her those two songs although she did not do much. She insisted me to pay $120. The ‘w—-‘ was not ashamed to talk with the bouncer. The bouncer started harassing me. Another two girls wanted to dance with me. The w—- told the bouncer to stop me. I insisted that I did not do anything wrong and even paid for more than she did. The bouncer asked me to leave and I refused. The owner came over to ask me. I refused. I asked why I should leave. He said the reason is because if I do not leave, he would get physical. Finally, they threw me off the chair and physically attacked me and got me out of the back door. I was brave enough to challenge the jerks repeated physical threats.
As to Jocelyn, as a w—- you need to be professional too and not to cheat. Play fair.
The club was used to be better. After not coming in for a while, the girls started to use the ‘curtain privacy’ as a way to cheat for money. If you agreed to it, some girls would do less than if you do with other girls without a curtain. Be ware.
The owner probably make too much money and treat a long time good customer like shit.
The 1st claimed to have worked there 17 years (somebody’granny?). she asked me upstairs. She asked “two songs or four songs”, “two songs” I hesitated and tried to be careful. She obviously thought that that is all I would dance with her. She covered her breasts with hands. No touching. No seeing either. I should have stopped at one song. I continued only because I said two songs.
Worth: $0. Spent: $50. I would at least have seen the body of dancers if I spent the time watching girls on stage. Total waste on 1st girl. She was old but nonetheless still good looking. I could have danced more with her if she was really dancing.
The 2nd girl I went to the booth with curtains: 4 dances for $120. During the dance, the girl simply SAT on me facing me, or back toward me, half and half of the time, barely moving and never raised her butt. At the end, the girl asked me if I want more. I said, you barely changed your position during the dance. Realizing that I could have danced more than 4 songs with her, she said, you could have asked me to move more. Worth: at most $20. Spent: $120.
The third girl, was worthwhile. Spent: $120.
The fourth girl, Jocelyn, should have paid me. Story similar to others already described.

Jocelyn appears to be the most popular dancer at the club. She is a pleasure to talk with and is joy to take upstairs.

i really had a good time, i went there with 3 of my friends on a friday dayshift. we all ate prime rib and had some drinks. no cover during the day and the booths are really comfortable. the waitress was really nice and attentive, i think her name is julie. anyways really nice place, i will be going back for sure

some insider just posted that the four dances’ official charge should be 100+10. That made the third girl cheating too. That means all four girls somehow cheated. more accurately as I recall, the second girl who just sat on me charged 100+10, I can recall because i questioned what the $10 charge was for when she danced even less than regular dances without curtain. of course she could not answer that.

Great place if you like very bleached blonds, sickly thin, and a few “mature” older dancers that think they are young because they got a boob job. VIP is well worth the money as you get tons of mileage.

To customer that rated 4 dances, I have received a large number of dances at Trumpps. I found most girls moved vigorously and none not cover their goodies. If you had problem with all 4 girls, then I suggest that you look at your grooming. It might need some help.

While most of the girls are too skinny, if you wait long enough hot ones do become available. You just have to know how to pick ’em. Drink prices are OK, didn’t try the food though. Very nice VIP treatment from Liz, (went this summer) not sure if she is still there but if she is seek her out. We were there on a Saturday at the end of the night and the place was SLAMMED, guy/dancer ratio could have been way better and things felt a bit rushed. Of course YMMV (Your Mileage May Vary) and usually the rule for strip clubs is to try and go late afternoon/early evenings on a Tuesday-Thursday.
