PLACE IS A WASTE OF TIME. The girls are stuck up. The bar tender “Amber” is rude, acts
like she is all that and can’t mix a glass of water right. “Vicious” is the other night spoiler.
For an anorexic midget you would think she would be a little nicer to the customers. They
have a long haired (I think she is mexican) woman who is that clubs only saving grace!
This place is a neighborhood bar with a runway. It has been
here 45 years. The girls are attentive, nice and actually say
“thank you”. The drinks are priced right. It has a relaxed
vibe and rock-n-roll music. You don’t feel pressured to do
anything except sit back and enjoy. I will be back.
This club use to be great when I first started working there. It started going down hill slowly and now seems to be heading to hell fast. There are some very attractive dancers working here but the atmosphere itself is not as comfortable as one would like. You always see the same customers sitting at the bar watching the girls and not tipping a single dollar. This bar is very well known for that. There have been many complaints about the bartender and the waitresses are continually walking around asking for money for the juke box. Very annoying.
IF YOU ARE A DANCER: There are other clubs in the area you could make better money at. RCs (Norfolk)is a good place for money, but the manager is an a-hole. I got in a fight with him 5 minutes after meeting. The KATT (Newport News)has been remodeled and I’ve been told the money is good. I worked there once upon a time, but the drive is not worth it for me anymore. I did make decent money though. OCEAN’S CABARET is in VA Beach and the only one worth checking out. I have never worked here, and the one time I thought of auditioning, the place was fenced off with police tape. A guy had been shot…….but a lot of girls say there is crazy money here. Try JBs on Independence if you don’t mind a f**ked up stage and “hole in the wall” look. I’ve heard good and bad things, but I’ve never worked there. HEADLIGHTS/JBs in Chesapeake has a very friendly attitude and the money is the best you are going to find. The owner, Buddy, is hilarious and will take good care of you. He watches out for his girls.
