1. We went in here thinking it was a sex shop. We were half right.They have a very small collection of lingerie and sex toys, but they have several women there IN lingerie… so I think they might be in the business of selling something ELSE. If you want sex toys, go next door to AAA news… who has a much larger selection.If you’re looking for lingerie or sex toys, look elsewhere… but if you’re looking to pay money to go into a back room with women in lingerie, they can probably help you with that.Not sure how legal this place is, or what exactly is going on here, but I think you can probably figure that one out for yourself.

2. Yeah. I went looking for stockings/lingerie. As a woman actually looking to buy lingerie and/or a toy it’s a little weird. Yes, there is a small selection of underthings and a very small selection of toys. But I think there’s more to this than meets the eye. There’s a sign out front telling me there is 1/2 off the door fee from 4-9 during the week. If you’re a woman looking for something for yourself, Forbbiden Fruit is probably going to be a better idea.

After much speculation as to what the Doll House actually sold – doll houses? small asian ladies? men’s lingerie? hookers? hand jobs? – and much research – phone calls, blog scouring, and ad scrutinizing – we decided to just go check it out. To be honest, I wasn’t sure what to expect. Initially, I thought it was going to be like a Dreamer’s – sans the pornographic movies. But after looking at some of their ads and reading a couple of inaccurate blog entries, I thought maybe they offered some private services that aren’t publicly advertised. When we first walked into the Doll House, we encountered a small waiting area. For a second, I thought we had walked into a doctor’s office or something – until a scantily-clad lady came out and led us into the “store”: 400 sq feet that sold lingerie, the standard sex toys, and handjobs. I kid. Well, maybe not. There was a curtained off area in the back that I didn’t enter, but I asked the potential-handjob-giver-lady what was back there. She told me that it’s where they give “private shows” (handjobs), which they can tailor for couples (simultaneous or double handjobs?). Hm, I wonder if she thought the bf and I were there for a show. I could have used a handjob I guess, but since I don’t have a penis, or cash to waste – I didn’t bother to ask her how much her going rate was.
