When a club has police details working, it sends an immediate message to troublemakers. And it only takes about 20-25 cover charges to pay for their services. And if you have anywhere from well over 500+ customers coming in on a weekend nite, like the Foxy, well then, that's a "drop in the bucket." Unless, of course, you're stupid and cheap, like the Foxy owners.
Dancers in Providence seem to bounce back and forth between Desire and Foxy more than any other 2 clubs. Besides Bree and Paige, never seen a dancer go from Foxy to Cheaters or Foxy to Caddy. Foxy and Desire are both great clubs despite the shills on these board bashing each of one of them.
The Foxy owners are too cheap to pay for a Prov. police detail on weekends. They dump any and all security issues into there bouncers' laps. This practice will someday bite these cheap bastards in the ass, but good. All it takes is one good "horror show" to fuck up their business, for good.Mark my words. it's inevitable.
Arrived here around midnight and it was a good crowd as usual. Courtney was here and she was looking smoking hot, by far the best dancer in the club tonight Other dancers on duty were: Tonya, Barbie, Sabrina, Victoria, Britney, Marissa, Destiny, Gabriella, Samara, Amelia, Leona, and several others. Nude room not that busy and no fights the entire time i was there.
Comparing Desire to Foxy is like comparing day to night. The clubs could not be any more different. Desire is a regulars club where the girls talk to you and get to know you while foxy is a "hit and run" club where the dancers just want to do a few dances or a CR then never see you again.
1. Desire girls are absolutely not hotter than Foxy. That's b.s. 2. The truth is Prov clubs including Foxy have few head-spinning beauties anymore, R.I contact causes most to quit, although foreign born girls seem to last longer 3. Try finding a space to park at Desire to park on busy nites. 4. It is true Desires is mostly a regulars club, so more girls get tied up. 5. Foxy's other big advantages is its location really part of a trio of club (FL, CL, CF) - all with all hrs any traffic conditions easy access and parking vs Desire where you're isolated - so its always 40 to 100 dancers to select from.
If there was a police detail at the door like caddy, desire and fantasies has, that fight would have never taken place. For this club they should really have two bouncers in the front lobby area on friday and saturday nights. Right now they only have one, and it can get hectic if alot of people show up at the same time, which usually happens on the weekend nights.
This fight was not inside it was right in front of entrance or valet. In fact, the 3 never made inside the club. Guess they tried to sneak in & fat ticket guy was pissed came out of booth to yell. Then the 3 started mouthing off crazy threats to bouncers. All the bouncers walked away for a minute while 1 employee tried to calm 3 down. The 3 just would not give up & bouncers had to react. These 3 had to be shitfaced, pulling out a plastic bag of cash waving it in bouncers face. Weekdays so much better for clubs but like rest of world work mon-fri so stuck with weekend visits
I am heading down there tonight so i am sure i will hear about that fight. Its a shame the fights are increasing here, one last saturday night and now last night. Lets see if there is any tonight, my guess is there will be atleast one.
Everyone has their own opinion, and is entitled to it. But my opinion, (being a former foxy dancer) is that Desire is a lot more...well, desireable. I feel as if the clientele for the most part at desire are a lot more respectable and true gentlemen. Yes, foxy packs a larger crowd. But no one spends money on the dancers. There is way too much going on for one club...waitresses, shot girls, rub girls, VIP girls, then finally the dancers. I make a lot more money at desire than I ever did at foxy. I'll always love the foxy staff, but Gerard knows how to run a strip club.
i saw 3 boozed up dykes get tossed . Foxy has crowds twice as large as any other club, so incidents starting to increase. Foxy now seems to be the cool place for straight 20 something's males and females to hang on weekend nites, along with dykes, and they arrive half drunk sometimes. I think they're dropping by after hitting the regular (non-strip) dance clubs which are dime a dozen and go in and out of favor sometimes in a matter of weeks..

There was a confrontation 1amish in parking lot. 3 black guys vs 12 bouncers. 1 of guys waving $$ in bouncers face saying "where's ur dollars" "we handle all y'all" bouncers handled well till the 3 became physical then they got a beat down hard. Well deserved. 3 arrogant fucks.. Ghetto or not that just doesn't fly anywhere. Good dances & felt like victory for people that don't suck.
The Foxy is old hat. it has seen its best days gone by. Those days are as gone as the wise guy image this place once catered to, fostered, and nurtured. Desire has better looking chicks, and, at least Gerard or Yung will send you a drink on the house every once in a while. The Foxy management is wicked cheap. Always was. Fuck the Foxy.

True. Foxy lady does treat dancers like shit. They never help a dancer out when trouble arises and customers think they know the owner of the club so they think they can sit and drink for free. That's why I left and went to desires. But I really miss foxy lady's stage and Melissa performing and the huge crowd.
Desires roster is loaded with hot ladies. Where do you guys come up with this shit. And Gerard has better things to do like treat his customers like royalty. This club treats its people like shit. Nowadays, it only takes one hand to decipher that figure.The old bombshell types are all gone with the wind. The big bucks just ain't to be made no more, and contrary to popular belief, the true hotties just don't sell their pussies for any amount of money. Today's gutter sniping', nigger lovin', hangwise lovin' broads aren't worth the heels they walk in. agree some hardcore CD shills have been in here for years, do they works for CD? probably. As far as Coke at Foxy? Yes, a few of the high profile dancers.Very few black customers here even weekend late nite, and the ones here are hardly thugs. Foxy and Desire are both good clubs. but in different ways. Foxy and CD both benefit when customers come in from Boston metro. As far as 'gorgeous" women at Foxy? I've not seen them, except a few here and there and they usually quit. Other times they might be visible 8's but otherwise unattractive smoky bad breath types.
It has been brought to our attention that CD management is responsible for a lot of the lies ang negativity that is being posted here. Just get over it and accept the fact that Foxy is a better club.
This place aint high class its just a place to see ass, it lives off its old image of the past , its no longer the number 1 club in town its hangwising USA and you cant sit down. Look at the manager all coked out and angered up , you call ths hospitality shut the F up .
Perception is everything. You can dress up a frog, and make it look pretty, but at the end of the day, it's still a frog. Smoke and mirrors. Deception. These are realities not only at the Foxy, but at every other strip club on the planet, as well. What you see, usually ain't what you get. The Foxy has done a masterful job of deceiving, and in return, receiving all of the "suckers cash." So, dream on, suckers.
They should kick people out for not spending and wasting chairs and dancer's time. This is a business not a playground. Come with alot of cash or go somewhere else if this place is too expensive for you. This club is high class. Don't come to a high class club and expect low prices.
Agreed - very few blacks (maybe 2 at most per night), and NO dancer or even prostitute will do anything for free, even hang out with you. Expect to be paying big bucks if you want any of their time OTC
Hangwiser was a term I first heard long ago from a guy I knew from Federal Hill. He said that when he was growing up, and just starting to go to clubs, he's always noticed a nigger or two, who would buy one drink, and then disappear into the shadows, and just watch for the rest of the nite. And what they would watch for would be drunk women, or ugly women, who none of the other white guys wanted, and then the nigger would make his move and pounce. Only 2 things mattered to them:#1) they didn't spend no money on drinks, and #2) they left with a white woman. thus, they "hung wise."
Club is ghetto on weekend nights , spics , thugs, and white boys who wanna be black . Some hot ladies here . Who got Lee hooked on something . This club is a known coke machine .
The term "hang wiser" was defined in here a couple years back as usually black guys, supposed thug types, who come into the club and hung back for hrs spending next to nothing, and then right before close convince a dancer to give them free sex either itc, or more frequently otc. It never made any sense because 1. there are very few black customers even on Fri and Sat, and very few of the blacks visiting the club are "thugs" 2. 99.9 % of dancers have no interest in giving after hours freebies.
Hanging wise means drinking only one beer and standing in the corner of club spending very little if any money. Then at the end of the night jump on a dancer and get dance or a CR.
Lotsa parties going on here on weekend nights among the 20s and 30s crowd. A few 40s+ sprinkled in. Few couples and female customers who don't seem to do much of anything.
Milan is very curvy if you like that, I prefer Shy's body type.

Skim off young strait males and females from regular (non SC) clubs, who apparently like the T Pain/Akon fantasy thing. 2. pick up the dyke business 3. 70% House music, some Hip Hop, but no ghetto booty music like you hear in Fantasies and Caddy. 4 a highly profitable bottle service. 5. have a large core contingent of mostly HOT waitresses, rub girls, hostesses, bartenders, shot girls etc - far larger than any other club.. 6 Tight rules in upstairs lap dance rooms, and loose rules downstairs.
Now as far as dancer earnings, Ok, this strategy doesn't necessarily help them, but except for some hot club bangers around town making good $$, all dancer earnings are down anyways.
This place is full of younger punks now with lady friends and dykes who come to Hangwiser and buy their 1 drink and oogle . This club sucks compared to a few years back . The crowd their letting in is a powder keg waiting to explode . Only matter of time before trouble puts this club under .
This place is just slowly but surely turning into a young man's club. White or black, it really doesn't matter. What matters is it's a "kids club" now. You see the younger crowd gaining numbers in here more and more now. Especially on weekends.
I have to agree Milan is one of the most stunning woman in that club better yet in all New England. She is a cut above the rest. She's sweet like Lania got an ass like tonya a face of a doll and she constantly switch her hair. Catch her if you can bevause she hardly ever works and when she does she always busy. Agree with Riff Raff. If this kind of crap keeps up these clubs will no longer be a destination for guys to travel to and make it their business to go too. They will crack down on all the things that make the clubs the best around and people will go to clubs where they live locally. If this happens these clubs will suffer with the tough economy and have a hard time lasting. These clubs have a niche and without that they are doomed.

Fairly lively scene, music good. Figure 25 to 30 customers ITC. New hot blonde waitress in. Probably about 12 to 15 dancers including Lee, Amelia, Tonya, and others including I believe Mylie and possibly Sasha, and I believe a new brunette dancer, with nice ass, and mediterranean look. Then around midnite some fairly hot (strait, or lipstick lesbians, hard to tell) female customers arrived and then seperately 3 Japanese? guys arrived on motorcyles.
During Amelia's set for 15 minutes there were 10 to 12 customers at the stage, including 3 guys that looked like high school kids (21 I presume) and a lot of tipping including from the female customers. Sweep Guy came out to sweep it all up for her..
Dont dis the old dudes with money; they hold all the cards as u say they wont spend money on a bitch unless she fucks him or goes out to dinner with him, he has the power either she complies or she is replaced really fast , more power to them, , ie go to desires at the dayshift and see what i mean in action..cheaters has more thugz but im white and never been bothered , a few more incidents like last weekend and the cops will put the hammer down on the stripclubs, , guys dont fuck it up..
Not to stereotype but the majority of the "thugs" at this club are white. Very few blacks here, atleast when i go here. The thugs have a few drinks and when somebody looks at them the wrong way all hell breaks loose. The bottom line is this club is still busy but its the wrong kind of busy.
Who said anything about old guys or racism . Guys just want to come in and have a good time without worrying about fights and other crap . Have to monitor a lot of the fool being let in sooner or later . This club has probably the youngest crowd of all the clubs so its far from an old age home .
No one wants to hang out with a bunch of old ugly balding pot bellied racist white guys whose balls hang down to their knees and looks down on anything under 30 and who especially is not a pale ass white guy like themselves. Those old racist type of guys are cheap anyways and won't buy a dance unless you either a) fuck them or b) agree to go out to dinner with them.
There have been atleast 4 scrums this past summer and all of them have taken place in the VIP area including the one this past saturday night. I dont think its a coincidence as the guys that are in the VIP area drink alot of the high end liquor. Management has to crackdown on these guys and not be blinded by the $$$ that is raked in by selling the bottles. Luckily the scrums have been pretty easy to break up and not violent but sometime in the future it could get real bad. It only takes one asshole to take things to the next level and things will get ugly.
Agree 100 percent. There comes a point in time where the clubs must turn the thugs away or face dire consequences . No regular good guy customer wants to hang in a thugged out environment.
Its gonna get real simple for these clubs. Let the thugs roll in, take over, and hope that the thugs drugs and drug $ and whatever other $ they got carries the show (Including keeping the dancers happy, and some actually want $ rather than the drugs!). Now you gotta deal with all the collateral issues of drugs, cash and weapons (surprise) which is a new dimension to the typical club scene (now both sides have weapons). Once they lose the decent paying civilized (aka easy) customers I suspect they will be lost for good, and not the thugs basically own these places.
The Foxy has a tendency to let ghetto thugs into the club until they become a majority, especially on Fri. and Sat. nites. Nothing but trouble is to follow this current trend.
Every club has had incidents lately. Cheaters had a major fight between dancers with an ambulance being called. Fantasies had a guy get busted with drugs and guns in the parking lot. Supposedly some black dude. And now here Kman reports a fight and guys thrown out. If this continues clubs will become stricter and tighten up only to make these clubs not as fun. People always have to ruin a good thing.
