If the price is right and no upselling like CL then I will be venturing here more often. The high prices at CL keep me away from there and the upselling just adds fuel to the fire. CD is still the best even though you have to deal with girls being attached to the regulars half the time.

It is going to take sometime for fantasies to see the benefits of the new doors. Word of mouth is the operative phrase that will determine if this club will get very busy again like it was several years ago. Most guys that go to the club dont read this website so they have no idea that there are new doors. The more people that go here and have a fun time the more times they will come back and tell their friends too. The slow season (Jan and Feb) is right around the corner but if its busy during that time then its obviously a good sign.
Caddy won't lose customers to here just because new doors . Caddy has the private areas it needs to get guys coming back . Plus they still have some real hot dancers . The new doors were just installed here and there is no major change from them yet.

The trend is definitely up.The doors have only been in a short time yet you can see the increase in business. They must be picking up customers from other clubs. Caddy and Foxy probably are going to lose the most customers. Plus expect to see many more customers coming in from out of state.
Total BS that the combat zone was ever wide open in the same way Providence wasa few ytears back. Total bullshit from another poster who has never been anywhere. One of the few exceptions was the Glass Slipper on Sundays, but even then that was a hj at the bar.
The upscale viewing area must be that section with the curtains & cushy seats at the end of the stage that resembles the backseat of a horse-drawn carraige from about 1877. It's been there at least a year though.
When did Caddy do this change , is it a bad decision . I thought the only VIP area was downstairs once they did away with the upstairs curtains . Never noticed an upscale stage change .
i believe they went with the louver instead of solid doors so it wouldn't be too obvious, keep everything low profile. As far as how fuckable the dancers are, not too good right now, but sure to improve as news of the doors gets around and more fuck girls show up to work here. Caddy roped off formerly one of the best seating booth areas in the club, making it now a VIP only area, and in another case added some special viewing room at the end of the stage, trying to make it more upscale
Why not just put a solid door instead of louver doors , also are there any hotties here actually worth going into the rooms with at this time . I agree foxy makes less privacy but what has Caddy changed I haven't seen any restricted areas . Caddy and this place have the best setup if you don't consider Lust then Desire is right in the mix
I find it funny that foxy descreased privacy and fantasies increased privacy within 1 week of each other. I dont think its a coincidence, that is just my conspiracy theory.

Foxy really picked a bad time to decrease privacy in those upstairs regular booths, Desire still is a small club, and has the regulars issue, and can be awkward trying to watch the stage from the bars. and Caddy while having the best stage still has the smallest bar in town, and have restriced certain seating areas now. so looks like Fantasies could once again be #1 in Providence.
horizontal slats, better style and increased air flow. you can do the hoes in here with her bent- forward standing doggie, with no problems. you couldn't even do that in those two downstairs champagne rms before
shutters with all the little pieces of wood in between are louver type just like mini blinds except these louver doors are always in the down position so you can't see in.
why not go to Cadillac Lounge or Cheaters? Don't get your pants all in a bunch just because the rooms are more private now. Many girls work here because it was not necessarily an full blown brothel and aren't going to all of a sudden start banging and sucking or they would have left this place for the other clubs a long time ago. That said, some new girls who will now sign on may be worth seeking out if extras are your thing.
The old Combat Zone was "wide open"? Were you hanging out in the same clubs that I was in the 80's and 90's? Guys would pay $25 dollars for a dancer's watered-down cocktail to have her sit next to you and MAYBE rub your leg a little. No private dances and no contact. Sure, lots of the girls hooked on the side and many would even leave during their shift and do you in a crumby little apartment or hotel nearby but the clubs in the zone were totally lame compared to what goes on in RI.
The new doors are full height doors, 80 inches high, and they go all the way to the floor. They are not solid like Desire, they are the louver type, but they are very private. You cannot see in through the louvers. This club has definitely joined the trend set by the other clubs and is now "anything goes". Just like the other clubs, it's don't ask, don't tell, just bring in those booth fees.
Know you dudes have fond memories of Boston's Combat Zone. As you know, it was wide open with the anything goes mantra. Some of the Providence clubs are shades of that, but not the same. Combat Zone -- a moment in time that was hard to beat. That said, party on in Providence!
New doors alone aren't gonna save this poorly run armpit of a strip club. They gotta get new, young, sexy talent to replace the obnoxious old Brazillian bags who strip there.
Did anyone see the quality of the new doors and test their integrity from the outside snoopers. Are they full enclosed doors from top to bottom, are they like Desire doors?

For existing club owners - who didn't pay the (1 to 2 million additional monopoly) premium to buy them or in the rare case like Caddy which somehow managed to create one out of thin air, now all but impossible - these clubs are still licenses to print money, just not like the 1996 to 2005 boom years. Most restaurants and regular bars would kill to have the cash flows these clubs have. Note that as recently as March 2011 Frank Jr was still telling people he had no intention of changing the doors. Business must have really taken a hit to do a complete flip flop on this.
If they indeed installed new doors that is one step in the right direction. The next step is charge one cover to enter the club for both downstairs and upstairs. Also bring in a few more hotties who deliver without the upselling and Robs.
I think Fantasies is sick of being stuck in the bottom half of the club scene the past few years. Back in 2000-2005 they were the best club in Providence. Since then its been a slow decline for whatever reason. I think they need a few more 8 and 9 level dancers to get this club back on top. Stephanie from cheaters would be a good attraction if they somehow could get her here. Next year is a turning point for this club, either its going to be great or its going to continue to be stuck in this rut. In November 2012 we will have a very good idea where this club is going.

management's greatest fear is - in the depths of winter and with the local economy still in depression, and its 20 degrees with gusty winds and snow blowing across the parking lot, and the place looks like an abandoned prarie ghost town -they end up with 5 customers in the joint on an avg day. Heat, electricity, taxes got to be covered, so the door change is an attempt to dramatically kick start some action Despite the room constraints, the club did have some girls working a reasonably successful Walmart type, low cost high volume strategy but the setup was still holding them back. So the club now is unwinding those constraints.
Life in the new millenium -- drink in a strip club $25.00. - pay a lot of money for a brief, low-level sexual encounter $150.00. Life in the 70's - grab a rack of Falstaff in bicentennial cans for $1.50. Go to a dance club. Actually speak to and seduce a woman. Bring her home and have sex. Repeat. Youth is wasted on the young. Kind of funny that texting and the internet has spawned 2 generations of "men" who can't speak face to face with a woman lol.
I think they will keep the old name, but it looks like the club vibe is already changing. Not especially busy on dayshift either monday or tuesday but noticeably increased business with the champagne rooms with the new doors. The larger trend should be clearer by the end of the week.
one of the rare ultra hotties at Cheaters Stephanie I could see now being enticed to perhaps test out Fantasies. In another club Saturday nite I was talking at the bar with two ex Fantasies foreign dancers, and when I happened to tell them about the new doors. all of a sudden they were very very interested in what was going on over here.
Like everything its about the $$. The doors were changed for one simple reason: to compete head-to head against Caddy, Desire, and even Foxy. Fantasies, while always FS, , no longer wanted to be limited to the semi private, several positions-only, schedule restricted two downstairs CRs, and the one-position lap fucking-only rooms upstairs, including the tent room just 10 feet away from bar patrons. Caddy operates with all-position FS rooms always ready, and that's why their bachelor party business outgunned Fantasies by a wide margin last summer. Even Foxy has now loosened the rules. Desire of course has 3 levels of rooms - all 100% private.
Comment: The midget was there helping install the doors if you want to believe it or not. He had a tool belt and was using his measuring tape with a taller fella . While the rooms with the new doors were pretty busy, the club itself was real slow here today. The guy mentioning that the doors brought on the boink sessions is accurate. But longer term no one knows for sure if that will turn this place into a full extras zone like Caddy or just more private areas like Foxy. Only time will tell
I dont think new doors will propel this club into #1 status. But it could move up a few spots. Caddy is top dog right now with Desire and Foxy right behind it. Fantasies could get up to the third or even second spot.
New doors or not they may have timekeepers and bouncers monitor the area and make sure no extras are going on or they can just let it be a great club like Caddy and Desire and get things back to like they were in the golden days with extras . The way they run the club will determine if the club climbs the ladder once again . Are the new doors good quality ?
Business was slow, not too many side dances going on. A lot of girls on shift though. Saw two girls do rooms in the brief time that I was there. And yes, there are new doors.
get to Fantasybefore 6 pm and no cover charge, then you keep floating nobody bothers you, then go to Club Desire before 8 pm and beat their cover, and then float around again but careful not to look too thirsty. Total cost 0.0 except for the bus fare
About a year ago there was a medium/tall girl with light brown hair named Alex. I haven't seen her since, but I don't go here very often.
The cover charge is only a factor if the activities inside aren't worth it, whether you have money for a lap dance or not.
I've never been disappointed here, so I'm planning to come more regularly.
In order to save money on room monitors I was informed that all of the booths have new coin operated doors on them now. You have to feed the coin machine $5 in quarters after every song in order to remain in the booth. This really blows!
The midget installed new custom doors after they made him change the foxy lapdance area to make it less private and so u can bump into other customers . Call up and ask for Francis . Did you install new doors and the new mechanical bull .
So somebody called Fantasies to see if they installed new doors?? This person is obviously underage and cant enter the club or else he would go there and see for himself.
The issue of what dancers do or do not do given the new door configuration is a seperate issue, but the club certainly is well within its rights to be offering champagne rooms presenting a comparable level of privacy to all other clubs in Providence.
They already have the best bar setup in town, and with this change -. they could easily become the #1 club in Providence again.
