This is the shadiest club i have ever been in. a group of 4 people i was with were attempted to be ripped off for over 11, 000 dollars. in less than 30 minutes inside this club. i worked for and managed a club for the largest chain in this industry for over 2 years and this is a club that will rip you off!!!!!!!@! we would have.easily spent a few thousand dollars in a couple hours but..... f this club and the management team!!!! shady thieves!!!! spend your money somewhere else!!!!!!!!!!!

With a mostly , business oriented, upscale clientele, (who happen to be white) it is far from a 'ghetto' ass scumhole. Managers exist to manage. I manage 10 employees and I guarantee you I have pissed off numerous people, but I have to keep people in line. If you do not like it, LEAVE! It appears that you have left, so of course my comment does not apply. No one has to realize anything. You are an employee at the low end of the food chain, get over it and move on. If it was so awful, you should have left sooner. If it was so awful, then you would not waste your time HERE complaining, you would move on.
The Uptown Cabaret has the ugliest skanks I have ever seen in my life!!!! Not only that, but 1 of the staff bartenders stuck ghb in one of the dancers drinks that she had made for her and the dancer ended up quitting there. The manager there that use to be a stripper at that club needs to get off of her power trip and realize where she came from before she became the manager!!!! That place needs to be closed down. It's a ghetto ass scumhole!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thats a lie. Plenty of variety at Uptown. There are gorgeous dark skinned African American girls that work there AND more than one of them work per shift. Maybe your not as hot as you think you are??
I drove two hours to charlotte from columbia, sc and got turned away from the club. i ended up working at one of the other clubs and was told that uptown was known for turning down black girls, they only hire the ones with very light complexions and they usually only have one at a time. i was a way better dance than all of them. either way, i went to asheville, made a ton of money in a "real" upscale club and now i'm about to be featured in smooth magazine. lol, i guess it's not such a shock to see so many bad comments

I love this club, I go during the daytime and always leave satisfied. No problem to get a bbbj, just have to have the right girl, and believe me there are more than one that will do the job. Always a good idea to tip the upstairs guy at least $5

In order to delete comments you need a PAID account. I am only a customer, but I would assume that most managers do not wish to purchase a membership for SCL. I am a manager of a large business myself, and sometimes you have to learn how to ignore the bullshit.

The money is indeed better. However, it is significantly better at night versuses day. Friday day shift can occasionally be profittable. (I emphasize the word "occasionally")

This is the best club i've been to.On most Friday and Saturdays they have at least 50+ dancers after around 9pm.A huge variety of girls.So you will definitely find what you are looking for.Serves great food before 10pm and good drinks all night.Everyone is very friendly and it is couple friendly also.me and my wife go all the time.

The VIP room is not enclosed, it is not a private area in the 'true sense' of the word. The bouncers are upstairs making sure everything is 'kosher', so NO, you are not going to get anymore than dry humping. That is unless you can get a girl to go outside of the club, and good luck with that.

I have noticed all along that some girls are friendlier than others, which is why I keep an open eye for the 'right' girl to spend my cash on. I have always seemed to have friendly dances.
That breast touching could be dangerous if that girl with herpes has an outbreak and then breaks those blisters on that dancers breasts and in turn you have a dance with her within 15 seconds of those blisters breaking then you will get herpes. That could occur or you could also get hit with a meteor in the parking lot, life has its chances.
Response to "dancer": Honey: EVERY club is supposedly "upscale", yet they all allow certain BS to go on in their clubs. Admittedly, I like UC, and think it's alot cleaner, and better than others, but it's no more "upscale" than others. I've seen guys wearing suits(looking nice) hangin in there, and I've seen guys who look like drive by shooters in the club as well. Very few mind you, but i have seen them. Nice club nevertheless.

Sure, there are ways around it.. Call a whore. If you do not understand the nature of a strip club experience, meaning you can *look* but you cannot 'touch', then perhaps you should not be coming to such an establishment. You can also choose to go to a nasty strip club and get a dance from god knows what, and hope you do not catch some sort of disease.
They do not hire just anyone who walks into the front door. You would need to show up first and see if you are the quality that UC prefers. This is an upscale club, and for the most part, the girls here are exceptionally beautiful. Overweight, cellulite, average, need not apply.

Someone was robbed, but they were not robbed outside of UC. They were robbed in the parking lot across the street, close to the dumpsters. They parked pretty far from UC's bouncer and security staff.
I'm sorry but I don't think there is anything funny about someone being robbed at gunpoint. I'm sure you wouldn't be so quick to make light of the situation if it had happened to you. All CMPD was doing was letting people know that this happened and asking anyone with information to call the police.
It is funny how there is ZERO knowledge of any robbery at UC. Perhaps someone likes to post lies, either that or CMPD is lying. Do your own research, you will learn.

I've been to clubs all over the country. Last weekend was my first time at UC. It won't be my last. Great club, friendly people, nice comfortable atmosphere, and of course beautiful girls. Well done--keep up the good work.
