You succeeded putting over 30 people out of jobs, your tax money is now their income, and the businesses surrounding you is probably down by 50 - 80%. Thanks to you, single mothers are now on welfare, college students can't afford college, bills can't be paid, their children can't eat, and the lives you have ruined are forever ruined. With this country in recession, we're pleased that getting this club shut down was your #1 priority.

Working last night was a JOKE! Actually working here is a JOKE! Why did I bother even working at this stupid place? They tell you can make $500-$1000 a night, no its more like "The club wants all of your money to work here so THE CLUN can make $500-$1000 a night!" What a FUCKING JOKE! Also hear that they pay the bartenders a $100 a night, the waitress gets $60 plus does lapdances, the dj gets $80, bouncers $80, and Sallie Jo gets $100. For what? To slut around and sit with guys? And you want US to give you $50 plus $5 per dance to work here? I'm what makes this club go round round nigga!
yep they already have like 30+ girls working every night and they still hire more and more girls. they need to get customers in that piece! there are too many girls working and no customers.
This club wouldn't be so bad if they had more customers, getting rid of guys who just "hang out", stop taking the 5 per dance thing, and really the house take is way too much for this club. I work in Florida and other higher places and they don't have house fees that high and they don't need to take 5 per dance becaue they make that money off the customers, not dancers. This place here isn't a strip club, its a place where they only make money off the dancers who leave BROKE!

you know I used to work there so I can tell you for a fact that they HAVE NO idea on how to run a club! The bastards only want to hire more and more dancers for that house fee and the money they get from dances, vip, and lady drinks. They have no idea how to talk to the dancers, treat them with respect, and they try to SCAM the dancers from their money! They are truely SCAM ARTIST! And I also heard they hired Salley Joe back as a manager, which is totally funny because why would someone hire someone 19 years old to manage the place? Carpet does looks bad, they haven't done anything about the lights beaming in your eyes, the chairs are horrible, the tables wobble, and I'm sick of having to move because some asshole wants to play pool. I'm there to spend money on the girls and since when water is $5?! Give me a break! Place used to be fun and rewarding great place to work. New management has no idea how to run the place! All they care about is taking the girls money and they have no idea what the girls go through when losers come in just to sit and look. Do all of us a favor and make some real changes. Charge everyone $10 to get in, even females, and stop taking $5 from every dance that we get. Its hard enough to make money in there as it is.

Looks as though they have made some changes in the place. Their carpet looks bad but looks better than the old one. Walls still look bad, the lighting is terrible, chairs are broken, and the tables still wobble. I am trying to figure out what good changes they have made. They need to change the place into a stripclub.
Amber, Joey still there. They added VIP area, new carpet and have a bunch of new girls. I think some of the older lazy girls are jealous based on the comments I read. They just need to go away. They are the only thing wrong with the club. I visit alot and have a great time. Prices have not changed at all but they offer more choices. Teri was just the manager but she is gone. Dances are still topless no nude. Some girls are friendlier than others back in the dance area but technically there is no touching.

I used to be a club regular before moving out of town. I'm going to be visiting some friends in the area next week, and I was thinking about stopping by, but after reading some of the comments here, now I don't know.
The last time I was in Escape Reality, Miss Teri owned the club, there was no touching of any kind, dances were $20 a song, either on the little benches behind the stage, or on the leather couches. Cover was $5, Amber was the main bartender, and either Joey or Erin would be waitressing. Have things changed that much? Are they allowing or promoting touching, or totally nude (not just topless) dances?

I am still confused on how they are still taking all the dancers' money? With the economy being in the dumps, they still have the "greedy nerve" to take money from the dancers. They don't even get crowds anymore and they should be lucky to even have any kind of customers in there. The dancers have bills too. The management needs to wake up and see what is going on in this world.
I hear that the management and owner are taking too much money from the girls. Its a freaking strip club, so why can't the club make money off the people instead of the girls? Sure I hear you have to pay something to work at clubs, but not like this one. I hear these clowns are taking more than they should and thats a shame. So instead of me getting dances or buying lady drinks, I give the girls a hundred for sitting with me so that the bar doesn't get any. They will make more money that way. Thank you for the recent post. I did read your longer version. I loved your comment that "this is not a strip club, it is just a bar with half naked women running around." Although I live just 30 minutes from this place, I rarely visit. Because those are my feelings also. And I haven't even visited in over 2 years. Sounds like it is worse now. I can't imagine how bad this place this must be. I will continue to drive 2-3 hours to Detroit, Lansing, Kokomo, or even Kalamazoo (as bad as that is) to SPEND MONEY. Yes, I spend lots of money, but not in places that don't deserve it.

The management and owner want more money and more money when the strippers themselves are not making any money. ZERO! They just don't get it. There is a BIG problem if you have to charge strippers up to $400 a night to work or more, because you can't make money off the stupid people that come in. Not fair for strippers, and they know that. Wow I really felt like the little fish among 15+ sharks (dancers). I was getting 3, 4 girls at a time at my table at once all asking for drinks or for a dance. I was one of the 3 customers last night, and thats kinda sad for the dancers. As the economy is in the dumps, I have never seen so many dancers here on a slow week night. I am sympathetic to the dancers as it looks they are wasting their time and money being there during this time of struggle.
Now I know why they have so much red lights in that place and I'm thankful for that. Once your eyes adjust to the red of the place, you'll wish they hadn't. What a collection of ugly, skin hanging, and downright scary looking of some dancers! Mind you I spotted 4 hot ones out of 10. Had one dancer tell me that she just had a baby last night, another sobbed to me that she's 18 and wants to drink, and another wanted to get fucked in the back! What has 2009 done to this place? I agree below. I used to work here but they take too much money from you and thats not how it works in other strip clubs. I've been back in Kalamazoo working now for a week and its way better. There is no house fee or any hidden fees to be taken out, they make money off the customers, not the dancers. Now thats how you run a strip club. Its $10 to get in, which $5 here is lame. Also they have hired young & dumb girls who are not dancers that do nothing in the club and they are asking customers for money. Place is a joke for sure! The owner and management needs to fuck off and go somewhere else or be like all the clubs of having a flat tip out fee. From the looks of this club, it needs a makeover outside and inside. Clientele is more of couples and the ones that don't belong in a strip club. Crowd is quiet, boring-dull looking people sitting at tables like they have no idea why they are there. Music is more of out of date style and too old for my taste. Place looks more like a regular bar than anything with a stage in the middle. Lights need to be more black lights and dark instead of red and bright. Couch dances need to be more private. They need alot of change in that place.
I used to work here when Terry ran it and now the new managers let the girls do anything they want here. If you say no to showing your pussy, they make you leave. Even calling the cops isn't worth it! You already know!

I seriously heard that a girl name "Star" is HIV positive. If that were the case, someone needs to inform the owners about that because its not right for the other dancers, employees, and customers. Someone needs to do something about it for sure. I have heard this from a customer and other people.
Holly quit there about six months ago. I used to come and see Holly but I have found more gorgeous dancers there to replace her. You can try Nadia, Koyote, and Sabrina. They are all gorgeous, have higher standards, and more of the Chicago style dancer types. Not to mention they give excellent vip dances and make your time worthwhile. Try them out, you won't be sorry.
