Went to SoCo's last night. They had 15 or 16 girls working on Friday night. Had a few dances with Roxi. She has an amazing body and I hope she sticks around for a while. Her private dance was good (have had better) but I didn't mind.
I was passing through Davenport last week and happened to hit Southern Comfort on Wednesday (2-for-$20) night. I bought a six-pack of Bud Lite at the bar next door and then sat in SoCo watching one dancer after another get naked on stage. Finally after about two hours I saw Angel, knew she was the one, and took her back for several dances. She was just what I was looking for: tall, brunette, curvy with real tits, pretty face, and sweet personality. Oh, and she gives a hell of a lap dance! Highly recommended.

To the lady that wants male strippers. This is a good club and in these times you cant change things too much. But across the interstate at TEAZERS gentlemans Club( formally Amsterdam) The new owner there can have male dancers on a Saturday Night and Still have female dancers at the club. They are having Americas Loverboys from Chicago Nov 13th at 9 pm. And the rumor is that they will be back every month there after? How is that. And after the show you can stop at this club and see the girls. Maybe take a male stripper with you?
one of the girls said that autum was hanging out at soco with some cops from chicago and went with them back to ther motel room after work on friday to party. she got caught and lied to jeff and blamed diamond. diamond is gone but autum is still there. too bad jeff never asks any questions
Diamond is no longer working at SoCo. You will find her at The Body Shop in Rock Island on weekends. SoCo does it again. They let go one of the hardest working girls they had, due to a lying piece of s*** whore who does customer after hours.
I will be driving through Davenport on a Thursday night. Do they have 2 for 1 dances on Thursdays at SoCos? How many girls work that night? I am still deciding where to stop. I may just keep driving to Des Moines instead.
So, Mgmt. is totally against making some real money from the housewives of the QCA! Don't know of any other club in the area that does this very often so it would have to bring in good crowd if advertised well! Would love to see it at So-Co, and know plenty of other women that would as well!

Hello to all at So-Co! Husband and I were in last week, and had a blast! Didn't seem to be very busy, although not sure what constitutes busy for you there, but fun all the same! We both loved Phoenix! What a hottie! To the owners, have you ever given any thought to having a "Ladies Night"? Have been to a couple with the girls and we had a blast! Would love to see something like this in your club!
Your contentions that a pretty woman who works hard, has a great smile, and a great personality will be sucessful are generally correct. But management already knows this, and as management has already stated, these girls are hard to find. Your statement that "if you know anything about the industry" is very self-indulgent on your part. Simple economics. Listen and learn. There is still only so much money available. And if it was just a matter of showing tits and teeth to be a success, every desperate housewife in the QCA would be working here. But hey. If you have all the answers, call Jeff.
To the dancers questions. If money was bad out there they wouldnt have the pretty woman they have. Also how hard you work is a big factor. If you know anything about the industry you know that a great smile and good personality will get you along way, even in small or tough crowds. They are open weds-sat. Call them for more info.

Todd, this is the most intelligent comment anyone has made is the course of this hyperspace war of words. If this corporate mission had been stated in the first go-around, then the other thousand words defending So-Co's history and reputation would not have been necessary.
As far as PROMOTIONS the management believes that 10.00 is a fair price when the other clubs are getting 12.00 to 15.00. The other clubs will discount a group to 10.00 each to make it look like they are giving you a good deal!
Let's hope the club is as busy tonight as this site has been today and that everyone's mood improves. If you can't be in a good mood you might as well stay home.
Relax Jeff. Your current detracters are probably up in the SoCo dressing room. If customers aren't happy, they just go somewhere else. When your girls are unhappy, they post on this site!!! It's been that way for years. I hear that a lot of girls did not show up last night. Gives them plenty of free time to get on the internet. So....watch your blood pressure, buddy.

The girls that want to make money make money. The girls that are whining are most likely the ones with poor work ethics. With all this being said we have let go a lot of great looking girls due to their work ethics and we will continue to do the same. Keep in mind this group of girls may not leave on their own they may be asked to leave. Keep in mind that you might not see your favorite dancer here today but when she realizes that the grass is not greener at the other clubs she usually comes back for another go round. Some may never be allowed to come back.
First of all let's get this straight! I'm not a guy. Second of all u need to get ur head out of theses girls butts get a life u won't be on here posting before I can get all of mine posted. Remember these girls r here for one thing and one thing only they only tell u what they want u to know! LOL
Even 12 to 15 girls working is not low, when there are not enough customers in the place. I talk to the girls, and they are not happy campers. So, keep the 8 to 10 girls who really want to work, lose the stand-arounders and girls with no work ethic, stop babysitting full grown adults, do some more promo, and get on with the show.
You give a guy a computer to play with, and suddenly he knows all the answers. Phoenix had made no bones about her hiding her profession from her family. She told me, and numerous others, about it several months ago. But she did ask management about working less days, (due to her distance from the club), before she had to face her family inevitabilities; and was told no. So she left. The last I heard from her, she was still looking for a new gig. Possibly Dooks or Shakers.
The first thing is getting them to show up for work. They make good money one night and then don’t show up the next night. Second is getting them out of the dressing, smoke shed, and the bar to do their job. The third thing is to change their attitudes and act like they have some class, sex appeal and enjoy their work. Instead of sitting with the regulars all night make several of the customers their regulars. So please before you attack the management make sure you have all the facts.
All of your FYI's are great past history. (Maybe that is where you want to live?) Nobody denies Jeff's hard work in 1994. But that's not going to bring warm bodies into the club in 2010.
Management at SoCo has been a round for 20 years. During this period of time we have always keep the number of dancers low to ensure they make a decent living. With today’s generation of dancers it has become a real challenge to provide my customers with the best performers. The new generation of dancers has no work ethics. Management has to babysit most of the gals.
FYI:
There would be no nude dancing in the state of Iowa if it was not for the SoCo Management and the SoCo attorney. Soco fought the state of Iowa and won to keep the clubs open in 1994. In the mean time there where business men and women sitting back to see which way the Iowa courts decided to go. With the victory it was kind of like the California Gold rush! Nudes clubs popped up all over the state of Iowa, four here in the QC’s. This opened the doors for the dancers, some that should be in the business and some that should not be in the business. This makes it much harder to provide my customers with the perfect entertainment.
As for Phoenix, she is a closet dancer! If you really need to know, first off she lives way out of town with her family. Second off her family believes she works at a local bar instead of being a dancer. Third and foremost her son just turned 21 and is now able to get into SoCo. (What a surprise he would get if he walked in and saw his mother dancing nude!) So before you go assuming things about management and make ridiculous post on here know your facts!!!
On any given night, this club may have scheduled 6 more girls than the volume of clientele dictates. House fee for the girls is $45, regardless of the crowd. Cover for the customers is $10. Do the math. House fee for 6 girls is the same cash for management as the cover for 27 customers. They very seldom have 27 customers come in the place. There is no promotion going on, so, apparently, management is content with letting SoCo wither and die. Some girls have left, they have had enough. Rumor mill is that more girls will be gone soon. Too bad.
Sounds like someones regular is outta control. Always a great time and well worth the money. Its entertainment and fantasy. No your troubled outlook on how the place is run dummy.
The owner is two busy forcing his disgusting, fat self on the girls to make any of the changes you suggested. I agree with on what needs to be done. Management treating the dancers with respect instead of jerking them around and forcing them to do things might improve the morale in the place. For the life of me I can't understand why anyone works there.
This place has problems that need to be addressed. 1) Get rid of the skanky girls that you hired from Amsterdam. They must have left that sorry dump for some reason. Figure it out. 2) You've got 20 girls working on the weekends. Customers are complaining that the girls hitting them up for private dances before they even sit down. 3) Girls have been caught doing tricks in customers vehicles in the parking lot. Limit trips to the bar next door to 5 minutes, or don't let them leave at all. 4) Send the drunks home at any sign of trouble. A girl got assulted last weekend after the drunk got warned twice, but wasn't tossed. I've got more suggestions, but try and fix these first!!!
The atmosphere in this place is great most of the time. The exception is the times management screams at the girls in front of the customers. This seems to happen way more than it should. There are some really sweet girls here who get ripped new assholes for the dumbest little things. It shows no class.
This place is going down the tubes. What's with all the new dancers, I mean whores, that work here now? There are old ones, fat ones, and just plain ugly ones. Most of the good girls have been chased off and the rest can't be far behind. It's too bad.
Inspite of all your negative campaign the DANCER'S CHORUS LINE will be open soon. DOCTOR JOHN'S LINGERIE & BOUTIQUE is not and never been an ADULT ESTABLISHMENT. The city can not be MISLEADED no longer. TUXEDO HATERS better you guys watch your parking lot where drug business is at full swing every night instead accusing others.

Merceides hasent worked here in a while last i heard she gained to much weight i think she is withchild, but i also heard from a good source she was working at jolly rodgers a couple times a week
Do anyone know or ever heard what happened to Cody, she was there about 18 months ago? I thought I heard she went to Vegas to dance, anyone know where by chance? I was making a trip to Vegas soon and would love to see her again.
Call and ask for Tom or Jeff. They are open Wends Through Saturday. It's about a two hours and twenty minutes from Des Moines. The money is really good on Friday and Saturday. They also have a full bar next door and you can walk over there and order drinks and food. Take Insterstate 80 East. Then take the 61 north exit when you get to Davenport. Get on 61 and look fot the Mt, Joy exit which should be less than a mile. Take that exit and it's across the railroad tracks. there's a gas station across the road from it.
It's a great club. You pay house and tip out. After that all the money you make on the floor is yours. The club fills up on Fridays and Saturdays! Just the way it should be.
