Get a clue. What's the big deal? You can smoke in the room next door. I was in here Friday with friends that DO smoke. Not one thought it was a big deal going to the smoking room. This guy talks about many other places to go. Where?
that DOESNT SMOKE and for the record its my first post on here and the "NO smoking" is the way to go!!.......some people like me exclusively enjoy Ruby's atmosphere and dont want to go anywhere else....as a non smoker its just not considerate to constantly have smoke blown in your face....now all smokers can STAY inside and still enjoy their plessure, to me its a win win for both non smokers and smokers. I have already talked to a few friends who say they will go more often now for the reason of leaving and no longer smelling like an ASH TRAY......and it was definately an issue if you don't smoke!!!

You mean, you're happy. Last time I was there, at least half the customers smoked, and most of the regulars. We can be pretty sure they're not happy. But your preferences are more important than theirs.
And obviously the non-smokers didn't mind much, or they wouldn't have been at Ruby's in the first place. After all, anybody that doesn't like smoke has plenty of other places to go to in Bridgeport, just like you do.
Why don't you write yourself some more phony messages of support?

I'm guessing that you must work here. And the reason you're writing phony posts is because you know that a no-smoking policy won't be popular with most of the customers here, especially regulars, so you're trying to fake support.
I'm sorry if smoke bothers you, but if you're a customer there are lots of other places you can go. And if you work here, you knew there was smoke here when you took the job.
What right do you have to impose your preferences on people who disagree with you?
Personally, if there's no smoking here, I'll just go someplace closer to home.

stopped in Ruby's today. No more smoking. Thanks Mike and Rich for giving all of us reasons to stop in more often. No more changing clothes and airing out before going home. Haaaaaaaaaaaa.
The last three posts were obviously written by the same person. Once again, it's just one guy on a crusade to make a bunch of other people behave according to his preferences.
Ruby's gets plenty of customers, obviously the vast majority of people are happy with it the way it is. And anyone that's not has lots of other places to go with no smoking.
If you don't like the place, don't come here. Why do you want to ruin it for the people that like it the way it is?

I too am not an employee but a loyal customer. I couldn't work 8 hours a day breathing the air in here. I hear there will be a smoking area in time so all you smokers should calm down. This is really the only good strip bar left in the area. We all know what goes on in those other clubs (Teddies, Bishops, etc.). So you can either go to Scruples and spend $5 for a beer or stay in New Haven.

Stopped in today. enjoyed time with my brazilian regular beautys !!!! heard Ruby's will be smoke free soon with a back smoking area. Greattttttttttttt. I'll make sure all my non-smoking friends can finally come on down.
It sounds like all the anti-smoking comments come from the same person, probably some employee.
On any given night, at least half the guys in here smoke, more than half the girls do and the vast majority of customers don't care. Anyone who does has got about eight other strip joints to go to in Bridgeport alone that don't allow smoking.
I usually come here with a couple of friends who smoke and the smoking policy is the main reason why. With no smoking, there's no reason not to just go to Scruples or Teddies or one of the places in New Haven.
Personally, if they get rid of the smoking here, I'll check out some of the other clubs around.
So glad to hear that this place will be free of the smoke. I know of many people that will come here more often now. The only reason some of us leave here to visit Scruples is because of the smoke. This place has always been better in every other aspect. Now we can stay here. MANY THANKS!
i understand the smoking will end in the main rooms soon i cant wait. and the smokers will get an area to puff away. and yes alot more of us dont smoke, either way i enjoy rubys and can go more offen without me going home smelling like smoke thank u rubys
I went to Ruby's a couple of times late last year. The girls were great and I wnat to go again. But going home reaking of cigarettes raised too many questions. There are a lot more non-smokers than smokers. If Ruby's went smoke free and publicized the fact it could be good for business.
My friends and I would come here a lot less if there was no smoking. We like the place too, just the way it is. There's at least 2, 000 other places in Connecticut with no cigarettes, could ya leave this one alone?

Haven't been here in quite a while but I can say finding hot white girls stripping these days is extremely rare outside of real high end clubs. Ten years ago the answer would be yes. There absolutely were. But titty joints were jumping back in the 90s. This place used to rock hard. You'd come in at 1pm on a Tuesday and the place would be packed. You'd throw a single down stageside and you'd get the chick hopping right in your lap right there and grinding. Mini LD. Fully nude. Ah..getting nostalgic now. Those days are long gone. With LDs going to $25 these days and with the talent slipping you might as well just get an escort.
Was in there the other day. The girls are lookin super sexy as usual. 2 new white girls, Hazel (who was really hot) and another one whos name I don't remember. But they seem to have the habit on stage of keeping their bottoms on and not showing much on top. Someone should tell them how it works at Rubys and explain that its a strip club..
