Closing the $20 VIP area would make no sense. I go there with dancers for the first time to decide if I want to move up to the $60 investment in the flame room. The girls that gave me the best time in the flame room did show signs of what was to come in the VIP. Other dancers didn't make the cut, leaving me very happy to not blow the lapdance budget on the wrong one. Surely club management can appreciate this simple concept. I see no way for dancers to give a halfway decent dance on the floor given the shape of the main floor chairs and the lack of privacy. Let's be smart, people!
There are good and bad Floor Hosts. Most earn a fraction of what a waitress, bartender or bathroom attendant earns. Owners place all the responsibility of club operations on the Floor Hosts.
Unfortunately, good Floor Hosts are not appreciated by the majority of customers and owners. Managers and owners use the Floor Hosts as a scape goat for job justification, bad policies, poor management and ineffective marketing. Most Floor Hosts would have a better future working anywhere else.
Regarding floor hosts, the majority are friendly and helpful, and also PERFORM certain duties. Even so, all you need to do is WALK up to a lovely LADY and just ASK her. If she likes you, she will return. If she doesn't like you, SPEND your hard-earned, money on someone else, as these clubs are usually fully-loaded with lovely ladies! Anyway, my favorite three clubs in the area are Lake Station Deja Vu, Club O and Club 390. If Club O changes their policy to a more unfavorable one, the lovely ladies at the other two clubs I visit will be extremely pleased (i.e. more money for them - and THAT club). However, I will truly miss my Club O favorites (SS & MF)! I hope this helps some!

I have been to dozens and dozens of quality clubs from Baltimore to Seattle, and of course, each club is run differently. Even so, clubs that have higher IN-HOUSE expenses usually charge more for dances. Makes sense! However, those same clubs seem to change favorable conditions to more unfavorable due to IN-HOUSE expenses. This leads to quality dancers and customers, who spend larger sums of money, to leave for other clubs in the area. This is a reverse pyramid affect, which will usually lead to that club rethinking their stupidity. Even so, the results are usually irreversible, as cash spending customers will find enjoyment elsewhere (i.e. money talks).
I'm asking guys that have been to quality clubs(local or national). Do you really need a floor host? I've managed very well without them, but also have found them to be very helpful in getting me the right girl for my tastes. What are your thoughts?
I did not mean for my earlier post to be misleading. The price structure for the flame room is still the same (to the best of my knowledge); $30 a song, with a two song minimum, making a $60 minimum ($50 for a feature). That is what I meant when I said it was three times as expensive as it once was for a dance with some privacy. $20 was the bare minimum before, now it will be $60 Also, several of the girls I spoke with were really uncomfortable with the idea of giving dances on the floor. In all honestly, privacy is pretty important to me too. I?ve had good luck with an empty VIP room in the past.
Is it really true about closing the VIP and the new pricing structure? I haven?t been to the ?O? in about six months but this sounds like crap. I never liked the VIP and always use the Flame room, but not at these prices! Table dances suck as all the other customers get a free show at my expense. Also, I know some dancers who don?t like table dances- on stage is one thing but being down in the audience is another. I suspect more dancers will leave. Did they raise the prices for the Champagne room and the Executive room?

Club O drives another nail in the coffin. This week they announced that the VIP room is being phased out. The $20 dances will now occur on the floor right at your seat. A great show for all the dollar beer drinking non-English speaking bums. For the regular paying customer who wants any privacy the cost has tripled from $20 to $60 for the two song minimum in the flame room. I understand that O must branch out and increase it's clientele. Damaging it's customer base of regulars in the process however is untenable. Some of my regular girls have gone to 390, but some remain at O. I plan to begin dividing my time and money between the two clubs.
