Any details on this Oasis yet? How much are dances? Panty hose or bare leg? Are the dances like the old place or closer to all air? Which girls have come over from the old place/other clubs? Anyone have a real review yet?
Stopped in Oasis last night. It is a far cry from the old place. They have pool tables and the atmosphere in general was great. I'm glad to see what they've done with the place, it is a major improvement.
This bar opening is a joke. Again I show up and told, that it will be one more day. I am not going to make a visit again until i read about it being opened and if it is any good.... So much for the dream of being the first to piss on the bathroom floor.
How does the new place get it's own board on this website - does someone from the club have to initiate it, can it be the customers, or do the SCL administrators do it ?
OSB is dead and gone for good reason, the new joint deserves a fresh start and should leave all the baggage from the previous place behind - begining with this board.

The bar is not yet open, however, given the construction that has been done, it cant be more than 2-3 weeks from opening...I saw the pop machine guys there hooking everything up last week, gotta be close...
If you think the new place is going to be anything like the old place, think again. This is gonna wind up being just another lame Melrose/Stone Park titty bar - the days of getting jacked off by a crackhead while you finger her stinky holes are gone forever. OSB was One Shitty Bar, good riddance !
The bar is located in Melrose Park, not Bellwood....If you notice, there are 2 large signs at the entrance to this complex stating "Another development brought to you by Mayor Serpico and the village trustees of Melrose Park."
This shit makes me laugh...I was a daytime regular at One Step, come on people, VIP? Get real...What sort of benefits would one get from VIP status at some little bar where girls shake their tits...Seriously.....Maybe a seniors discount on coffee too, just like McDonalds.....

I think the fact that we are still on this site, months after the old place shut down is proof we cared about the old joint and are looking forward the the reopening. Management: how about recognizing some of the stuff mentioned and letting us know if you want any more suggestions? We all want the same thing a kick-ass bar thats fun and (for you), profitable.
The "kids place" that is there is a business, not a public school...that's a huge difference - they can, and should, simply find another location if they feel that being near a bar is bad for their business.

Also, if you google Oasis sports bar & grill it shows that there is/was one on North Ave, in Melrose...does anybody know if the OSB owners also own(ed) that place, or does the "new place" also have new owners ???
We'll only have to worry about the Bellwood cops raiding it instead of Melrose? Drove past the other day and I think it's in a perfect location EXCEPT for that kids place. You know that some law abiding female parent is going to see a hooker-looking girl walk in or walk out one day with a bag over their shoulder and question what kind of place it is. But on the bright side, from the things I've read the Bellwood police force is almost as corrupt as Maywood so maybe there is nothing to worry about.
Come on people, not that difficult......South of Lake St, yet north of the tracks.........There is a new plaza (not the one on 25th and Lake with the little Ceasars, ) it is on the west side of the street across from the R & S Grill, very large shopping complex that looks like it should be a warehouse and orange in color.....Drive on 25th between Lake and the tracks and look west, away from the morning sun for those less directionally inclined......
I drove past the little strip mall that I saw at 25th and Lake St but all I saw is a Little Caesar's and another place with no signs on the rest of the stores. Is that the mall that Oasis is going to be in?...................
If Rob opens up the new place, you can bet that girls from Maywood, the West side of Chicago and Humboldt will dance there because Rob is from the hood himself. I didn't mind some of the hood girls like Sweet but I hope that a lot of the others don't dance at the new place because they brought bad attitudes and ghetto thugs who had no respect for other customers to the bar.
I doubt the new joint will be anything like the old one...the only thing that set the old place apart from the other Manheim clubs was that the girls did dirtier dances and didn't wear panty hose - but, unfortunatley thats also what led to the downfall.
Hopefully the owners won't allow the nasty ass hos from Maywood, the west side, and Humboldt Park back to drag the place down again. But, at the same time I hope they can keep the dances good and filthy dirty like before. I don't know how or if that's even possible, but it'd be a shame if it turned into just another run of the mill club like Carl's or Bobby's...guess I wanna have my cake (pussy) and eat it too !

The new place is located just north of the railroad tracks west of 25th Ave in Melrose Park. It is in the newly shopping plaza. The name of it is Oasis Sports Bar and Grill. By the looks of things, it looks as thought it should be opening within the next few weeks....It looks like an attempt to compete with Carls, meaning, it is a much more appealing establishment than the old hole in the wall feel with fucked up washrooms, as for the women, I couldn't tell you...

Maybe not across the street but there's still plenty of immorality in that school - it's full of little gang bangers that come from the same families as many of the immoral girls and customers that used to go to OSB.
OSB could not have been more low key or discreet in it's appearance - there wasn't a sign or even any windows with neon lights or anything...plus the last time I checked there were no night school courses being offered at that school.
